For the past several weeks,
I've been grieving in silence.
Lost one of my family/friends
To domestic violence.

And though it pains me,
That you're gone away.
I'll be thinking about you--
Every step of the way.

I don't even see me.

Still trying to figure out who she wants to be.

Just yearning to be free.
