Join the rest of the lot.
Change your clothes and change your hair,
Into something you're not.

Stay with the lot.
Let's control your mind and erase your thoughts,
Until you've forgot.

Don't stray from the lot.
I was going to try and tell you something,
But I forgot.

Come on down, line on up--
Join the conformity lot.
Where being different hurts and it's time to change,
Into something I'm not.

"Autumn Leaves"

Things change,
Just like the Autumn leaves.
People change too--
As we are left to believe.

So maybe I'm changing--
As things start to Fall.
Or maybe I'm just struggling--
With everything and all.

Because I'm changing,
Just like the Autumn leaves.
No longer does my heart--
Lie upon my warm sleeve.

Even more guarded--
Than I was before.
I'm struggling with the Autumn leaves--
That I once ignored.
