There's a hole I can't fill--

And it's so crazy deep.

And the more I try to explore it--

The more that I weep.

No matter how hard I try.

And the more I reach for it--

The more that I cry.

And it's tearing me apart.

The more it breaks my heart.

Confused and in distraught.

Hollow look,
Empty eyes,
A broken heart--
A web of lies.

Empty words,
Yet still kind.
A shallow heart--
A fragile mind.

Distant,
Yet still polite.
No longer an angel--
She's lost her light.

Torn in two--
And not the same.
And one con artist--
Takes all the blame.
