"Made of Glass"

I'm made of glass--
For everyone to see.
And I dream of a life--
Where I can be free.

I'm made of glass--
As clear as everything.
We live in a world--
Where we can be anything.

I'm made of glass--
That easily breaks.
I'm made of glass--
And I cry over little mistakes.

I'm made of glass--
Crystal and clear.
I'm made of glass--
And I often want to disappear.

I'm made of glass--
Full of stains and cracks.
I'm made of glass--
And I just want my life back.

Don't hurt me 'cause I'm fragile,
Is that too much to ask?

Don't hurt me I might shatter,
Just like a piece of glass.
