Was a sensitive girl
Who dared to dream and to wonder.
Beyond the lights--
Was a sensitive girl
Who's always made a blunder.
Beyond the lights--
Was a crushed spirit
Who tried to hold on to hope.
Beyond the lights--
Was a crushed spirit
Who wrote as a way to cope.
