Safety net--
No life guard on duty.
Looking back on life--
Trying to see its beauty.
Safety net--
With no one to catch me.
Looking back on life--
For those who tried to protect me.
Safety net--
Trying to swim not sink.
Floaters up--
So, I can take time to think.
Safety net--
Trying not to lose control.
I feel like Alice--
Steadily lost in a hole.
Safety net--
Traveling on ocean water.
I feel loved--
Because I'm her Goddaughter.
Safety net--
With no sail on seas.
Just looking on life--
And how it should be.
